Dr. Leslie Mitzel is a licensed chiropractor in both Michigan and Massachusetts focusing her practice on wellness care and family care.
Dr. Leslie Mitzel grew up in Michigan and is originally from the Metro-Detroit Area. She attended Saginaw Valley State University where she attained her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. Dr. Leslie knew she wanted to continue her education in the health field, but was unsure, at the time, which path to choose. As an avid Rugby player, an injury in that sport lead Dr. Leslie to chiropractic. It was then that she realized what chiropractic had to offer people and wanted to become a chiropractor.
Dr. Leslie moved to Iowa to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport for four years. There, she played Rugby and proceeded to become the coach of the Palmer Women’s Rugby team during her time at school. During her time at Palmer she realized the importance of having chiropractic care starting at birth and wanted to gain more information about caring for children.
Dr. Leslie is a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. Dr. Leslie had the privilege to do an internship in the Boston area at Westwood Family Chiropractic with wonderful mentors. She is very grateful for her time spent in Massachusetts where she gained invaluable tools to help her achieve her goals.
When she is not in the office serving the Grandville/Grand Rapids Michigan area you will find her being active outdoors, biking, hiking, and camping. She also values time spent with family and friends.
Everyone in the community, including newborns and expectant mothers can benefit from Dr. Leslie’s chiropractic care.
